.54 CALIBER PAPER CARTRIDGE FOR THE M1841 MISSISSIPPI

An excellent, complete .54 caliber Paper Cartridge as
issued with the M1841 Mississippi Rifle. Paper wrapper
is complete with no damage or breaks. Thread tie at the
point of the bullet is intact and the folded tail is
present. This is a very nice specimen of a rare
cartridge.

Mississippi Rifle. Paper wrapper is complete with no
damage or breaks exposing the powder charge, with a very
small age/stress crack in the paper where it surrounds
the bullet. This crack does not affect the integrity of
the cartridge, nor is it the result of external damage,
rather caused by the tension of the paper as it was
pulled around the bullet. Thread tie at the point of
the bullet is intact and the folded tail is present.
This is a very nice specimen of a rare cartridge.
