M1910 CANTEEN AND COVER: The standard
early Twentieth Century US Army issue canteen, this
M1910 Canteen is in very good to excellent condition,
with a smooth even finish to the aluminum. The cap is
present, fully functional with the full length attached
chain, and complete with the original cork washer. The
body of the canteen is nicely marked with “US ACA 1918”.
The cover is very good condition, with all seams and
stitching intact, both lift the dot snaps in place and
fully functional with no tearing, and a nice even khaki
color. The cover is ink stamped on the front with
a nice, strong “US” and the interior of the right flap
is stamped with a legible clear “L.C.C. & CO. 3-1918”.
This is a very nice specimen to complement your belt. SOLD
